Biography
Barbara Staudt Lerner recieved a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer
Science from Moravian College in
1981. After a brief, one year
encounter with industrial software development, she saw the light,
returned to
graduate school, and received a PhD in 1989 in computer science from Carnegie
Mellon University. She was then a research assistant professor at the
University of Massachusetts, Amherst
and an assistant professor at Williams College.
Currently, she is a visiting associate professor at
Mt. Holyoke College.
